Rev. Thomas Vogt will bring the message on July 14. Rev. Vogt has served in youth and associate pastor capacity for 10 years in Orange and the City of New Port News Virginia. He and his wife Rev. Sherryl W. Vogt were ordained together in May of 2022. They have three boys, Judah, Josiah and Jesse. Thomas currently is the Chaplain of Central Virginia Regional Jail in Orange, Virginia.
Bybee’s Road Baptist Church in Troy, VA is seeking an experienced pianist/accompanist for Sunday morning worship services as well as special worship services (Easter Services, Christmas Services, Homecoming).
This is a part-time position and requires weekend availability and ability to commute/relocate.
We are searching for a person with a heart for worshiping God through music and a passion for engaging congregations through vibrant worship and music. The candidate will be responsible for providing leadership of all church music activities, able to work in a team setting, demonstrating responsibility to assigned tasks, meeting schedules and being creative and energetic. A working knowledge of both traditional and contemporary Christian music is desired.
Future: When the choir is reestablished, prepare the choir for its role in worship.
Position provides compensation according to experience and training and will be discussed during interview.
